Session Type: Symposium
This symposium advances dialogue on campus racial climate by centering national data from the NACCC staff and faculty surveys. Scholars from the USC Race and Equity Center will reveal how race and racism shape the lived experiences of faculty and staff, highlight disparities among racial groups, and share actionable strategies to foster more equitable and inclusive academic workplaces. By focusing on those who support, teach, and lead within institutions, this session underscores the necessity of addressing faculty and staff realities to dismantle systemic inequities and realize the conference’s vision of reimagining educational futures.
