Session Type: Symposium
This session brings together educational researchers from three different California public universities and a non-profit research organization that have been impacted by the US Department of Education’s recent termination of the Teacher Quality Partnership (TQP) grant programs. In this session, we will share the impact of the TQP programs at each of our institutions, identify what is at risk due to the termination of the grants, and strategize together on collective actions to sustain equity-centered teacher preparation in the face of decreased federal investment in public education.
