Session Type: Working Group Roundtable
School–University Research–Practice Partnerships (RPPs) are essential for advancing equity-centered, sustainable change in education. This working roundtable brings together RPP teams engaged in K–12 CSforALL education projects across diverse districts and contexts. Participants will explore how cross-institutional collaborations navigate challenges including building trust, addressing turnover, and balancing short-term implementation with long-term systemic change.
CS education plays a critical role in preparing students and closing equity gaps, but integration often depends on partnership strength and stability. Through case study sharing and facilitated dialogue, this session will surface common barriers and promising strategies for sustaining CS instruction beyond initial funding cycles or personnel changes.
The roundtable aims to deepen understanding of how RPPs foster sustainable, equity-driven CS education across institutions, disciplines, and communities.
