Session Type: Symposium
This symposium examines the intersectionalities of race, ethnicigy, class, and gender identities through the lived experiences of the Asian diaspora. Because each presenter is a different Asian ethnicity, we explore the commonalities and distinct elements of our historical labels as we co-construct our collective futures. As a panel of Chinese-American, Vietnamese-American, Indigenou Filipino, and Korean American educational scholar-practitioners, we stand collectively to expand our solidarities beyond the present state of things, to imagine a justice-oriented Asian-futurism in education research.
