This session explores the impact of Title VI and Title IX in education, emphasizing their role in ensuring equitable opportunities across diverse communities. Presenter 1 uses an Afrofuturist approach to investigate the postsecondary aspirations of high school seniors attending schools in California. Presenter 2 addresses the gendered and racialized nature of Islamophobia that Muslim women experience. Presenter 3 explores the racialized experience among Asian American and Latinx students.
