Session Type: Structured Poster Session
This structured poster session offers 12 posters representing a collection of chapters from the forthcoming International Handbook of Research in Digital Literacies (Routledge, 2026). This collection focuses on work that expands theory and practice by considering how past digital literacies research can help construct a new and more inclusive vision for research. The chapters expand the notion of histories by problematizing and connecting work that examines digital literacies as lived by many communities, as studied through methodological traditions, and as operationalized in diverse contexts of practice. Through poster viewings and critical, collaborative discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to consider past histories of research and how they inform the construction of new visions for digital literacies research.
