Session Type: Symposium
In this session, members from different research teams from the United States and around the world (Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, Algeria, India, Korea, China, and the USA) come together to examine multiple facets of generative AI in education practices, perceptions, and systematic reviews. We will present our analyses via multiple entry points reflecting on systematic reviews on sustainable development and language learning, international students' use of AI in the US, in informal and formal settings. Our goal is to cultivate a holistic view of Generative AI in education in international contexts and raise awareness about the potential benefits and challenges.
