Session Type: Symposium
The objective of this session is to describe implementation results and lessons learned from researchers building new state-level coaching systems for ECE educators. This session includes three papers from three states that highlight innovative strategies, systems, and supports to advance evidenced-based coaching at scale. The first paper examines a targeted statewide coaching initiative as part of one state’s new quality measurement and improvement system. The second paper focuses on lessons learned from the first four years of implementing a state-system of supports and resources for coaches. And, the final paper examines a new tiered coaching model that provides an individualized approach to coaching. Following the presentations, a panel discussion with presenters and questions from the audience will be discussed.
