The papers in this session represent the perspectives of community educators and learners in out-of-school learning experiences. These projects highlight approaches to capture and cultivate important outcome variables beyond academic achievement, including leadership, well-being, and meaning-making. The papers also discuss issues of sustainability in designing and maintaining these experiences.
