Session Type: Paper Session
This session explores how artificial intelligence is reshaping the foundations of curriculum, memory, and pedagogical power. Across five interdisciplinary papers, we examine the erasure and reconstruction of collective memory in AI-driven curricula, the platformization of teaching, and the sociotechnical forces that dictate educational futures. From historical analogies—like the Cold War and COVID-19—to philosophical inquiries into superintelligence and AI literacy, this session interrogates how automation and digital governance are redefining what and how we teach. Together, this paper session offers critical insights into the shifting terrain of curriculum in an increasingly algorithmic world.
