Session Type: Paper Session
This session explores how AI and immersive technologies transform language learning, writing, and communication. Studies investigate AI-integrated informal digital learning, synchronous versus asynchronous AI-assisted instruction, and AI feedback systems for writing development. Complementary research examines how VR fosters rhetorical and embodied understanding and how learners use ChatGPT for self-directed language learning. These papers illuminate how feedback, embodiment, and learner agency intersect in AI-enhanced language education, offering new models for equitable, engaging, and adaptive language learning.
