Abstract
Moving beyond functional applications, this session offers a critical examination of AI's role in education. It discusses the need for "technoskepticism," analyzes the epistemological risks and pedagogical shifts AI introduces, explores how AI can impact faculty agency and instructional design, and calls for a more critical, technology-integrated curriculum.
