Session Type: Roundtable Session
This session examines how teacher beliefs, professional learning, and hands-on creation converge to build sustainable computer science (CS) and AI instruction in K-8 settings. Together the four studies trace mindset shifts from longitudinal classroom practice, reveal gaps and aspirations among pre-service teachers, showcase how “vibe coding” empowers teachers to become creators of classroom software, and document sustained growth through research-practice partnerships—offering practical directions for PD, curriculum design, and systemic support.
