Abstract

This session invites dialogue on immersive technologies and learning analytics in STEM education. Papers examine spatial computational thinking outcomes across race and instructional formats in K-12 geoscience contexts, user preferences for educational GPTs emphasizing accuracy and social influence, sequencing strategies for VR-based cybersecurity training, automated emotion detection revealing anxiety and disgust patterns in game-based learning, and longitudinal sentiment analysis of autistic learners in VR coding environments. How do immersive technologies impact diverse learners differently? What role do emotions and engagement patterns play in technology-mediated STEM learning?
