Session Type: Roundtable Session
This roundtable examines civic learning experiences among middle school students through a yearlong student-led civics curriculum as well as small groups during an action civics cycle of inquiry. In addition, scholars will share analysis of 8th grade NAEP scores that uncover structural drivers of civic inequality and propose equity-oriented reforms for more inclusive civic education policy and practice.
