Session Type: Roundtable Session
As education increasingly unfolds in digital and hybrid spaces, ensuring accessibility and validity has become essential. This roundtable brings together cross-disciplinary and international research examining inclusive design in assessments, learning environments, and policies. Papers address integration of culturally responsive assessment with STEM instruction, validation of motivational measures for students with disability accommodations in HyFlex courses, universal-design digital textbook development across Europe, and analysis of U.S. state policies governing assessment personnel qualifications. Collectively, these studies highlight that accessibility is both a technical and ethical dimension of validity. The conversation will bridge psychometric, instructional, and policy perspectives to define principles for designing equitable digital and hybrid learning systems
