Abstract

The SIG on Education Finance and Policy brings together scholars, practitioners, and policymakers dedicated to advancing rigorous research on the allocation, equity, and effectiveness of educational resources. This year’s program highlights innovative approaches to cost modeling, fiscal equity, and data transparency, as well as the political and organizational dimensions of resource use in schools and higher education. Our sessions feature methodologically diverse studies that inform policy design and implementation across local, state, and international contexts. The business meeting will provide an opportunity to celebrate member accomplishments, discuss emerging research directions, and plan collaborative initiatives for the coming year.
