Session Type: Poster Session
This poster session explores creative, culturally sustaining pedagogies and radical storytelling practices that affirm Black identity, wellness, and imagination in educational spaces. Across projects that span visual art, sport, digital culture, and community colleges, presenters illuminate how Black learners and educators use narrative, data, and self-definition to reframe learning as a site of joy and resistance. From Solange-inspired epistemologies to radical storytelling frameworks and resilience-building among Black male students, these works demonstrate how artistry and methodology coalesce to create liberatory, learner-centered futures that challenge the boundaries of traditional educational research.
