Bilingual Education Research SIG Mentor Session: “We Are Not Alone”: Building Solidarity, Community, and Collective Power

Abstract

The mentorship session provides BER SIG members with a space to build community and foster meaningful mentoring relationships. The session will begin with brief remarks from the BER SIG chair, followed by an overview from the co-chairs of the Mentoring Working Group. We will feature a panel of mid-career and senior scholars sharing their experiences in academia. Mentees will be paired with mentors whose research interests and professional goals align closely.
