Session Type: Workshop
This session showcases emergent methodologies and outputs from rigorous youth-led research projects, with a special emphasis on addressing belonging blind spots—the overlooked and often invisible dimensions of interpersonal, instructional, and institutional opportunities to belong within educational spaces. Through creative scholarly methods and artifacts such as photovoice, digital storytelling, visual art and architectural design, youth researchers use data to understand social processes from new vantage points. Each project will be presented through interactive, multimodal displays—utilizing iPads and QR-linked artifacts—transforming research dissemination into an engaging, community engaged experience that weaves together the imagination and creativity of youth with rigorous scholarship.
