Session Type: Roundtable Session
This session traces mentoring pathways from high school through graduate education. Presentations examine how informal mentoring shapes well-being and belonging during late high school and the transition beyond graduation; a co-generative partnership in which secondary students collaborate with scientists to build research skills and career awareness; and the search for effective faculty mentoring within doctoral economics programs. Collectively, the papers highlight practices that promote early engagement, smooth academic handoffs, and targeted support at pivotal milestones. Attendees will leave with actionable ideas.
