Session Type: Paper Session
This session examines how educational policies and systemic practices shape access, equity, and inclusion for students with disabilities across diverse contexts. Presentations critically analyze special education policy frameworks, highlighting tensions between legislative intent and practical implementation, as well as the intersections of disability, language, and cultural diversity. The studies provide new insights into how schools and policymakers can re-envision supports, timing, and structures to create more just, equitable systems for all learners.
