This session explores how educators, students, and communities navigate equity and inclusion in special education. Presentations examine cross-generational coalition-building around IDEA, the experiences of pre-service special educators of color, structural and geographic displacement of homeless students with disabilities, and teachers’ emotional and attitudinal frameworks across cultures. Attendees will gain insights into fostering agency and equitable practices within diverse educational contexts.
