Adolescence and Youth Development SIG Business Meeting

Abstract

During the business meeting, SIG officers will provide an update on the Adolescence and Youth Development (AYD) SIG’s activities over the past year, with detail on the SIG’s membership, finances and initiatives. Following a presentation by Program Chair Bronwyn Nichols Lodato on the implications of changes in federal educational policies for education research that focuses on adolescence and youth development, Chair Marie-Anne Suizzo will facilitate a discussion among all members to develop a shared vision and priorities for the coming year. Finally, members who participated in the SIG Mentor’s Retreat will share their experiences and reflect on their main take-aways and future goals.
