Challenges & Possibilities of Union Organizing in Higher Education

Abstract

This symposium will feature three higher education union organizers from across the U.S. in conversation about the possibilities and challenges they’ve faced while working to build union power in their unique contexts. Facilitated by educator and movement scholar, Dr. Denisha Jones, this dialogue will offer reflections from the panelists that can inform higher education workers who recognize the importance of labor solidarity and collective action in our current political moment.
