Session Type: Invited Roundtable
The Politics of Possibility is a four-part national webinar series focused on resisting federal retrenchment and reclaiming education for the social good. Co-sponsored by Division L: Educational Policy and Politics, the series engages education researchers, policymakers, and practitioners in evidence-based conversations designed to increase awareness about the implications of the federal assault on K-12 and higher education, its immediate and long-term consequences for US democracy and the social good, and what we as an education community must do about it. This session will comprise a “live” conversation featuring panelists recapping key themes and insights from the series, followed by an opportunity for the audience to engage with panelists in small groups to develop a collective vision and strategy for educational justice and transformation.
