Session Type: Invited Speaker Session
This session brings together pioneering scholars who established and guided leadership-focused SIGs within AERA, specifically Division A. Panelists will reflect on the historical evolution of educational leadership scholarship and practice while engaging contemporary challenges shaped by divisive concept laws and debates over diversity, equity, and inclusion. Through dialogue, participants will explore how foundational visions inform current and future directions in educational leadership research and advocacy.
