2:15-3:15: Opening Panel with Deans and Folks on Hiring Committees: “Positioning Yourself for Success When Academic Hiring Reopens” (pending title)
3:15-3:30: Break
3:30-4:30 pm: Fireproofing Orientation / Framing with Dr. Kenjus Watson and Dr. Tiffani Marie (see their description below)
This session would introduce the Fireproofing Black Futures residency, share what we’ve been learning alongside CSU LA faculty and staff, and orient participants to the work that will take place during the week. We’re aiming for 3:00 PM or later to allow time for Dr. Tiffani Marie to travel in and for us to hold the session with care.
5 pm: Graduate Student Happy Hour at a nearby restaurant
