Session Type: Invited Speaker Session
This is the second of three joint sessions designed to update the memberships of AERA and NCME and invite input on the revision of the Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing. This session will focus on the Operations chapters, with particular attention to test development, test administration, scoring, rights and responsibilities of test takers and test users, and documentations for tests. The Joint Committee (JC) has been working on revising the 2014 Standards. In this second session, participants will receive an update on the revision process and learn about major changes proposed for the opeations chapters. Most importantly, the session will provide time to hear directly from participants—their reactions to the updates as well as their questions, hopes, and concerns about the ongoing revision.
