The purpose of this study is to examine the extent to which collegiate environments and experiences influence the development of students' innovation capacities over four years of college. The study employs growth mixture modeling (GMM) and reliable instrumentation to analyze a three time-point longitudinal sample. Results support a two-class structure, inclusive of a high-growth trajectory class predicted by both individual features (e.g., personality) and collegiate experiences (e.g., out-of-class learning). Discussion and implications are offered.
