In this paper I reflect on a cross-cultural international journey from China to the U.S., especially my professional experience with moral education in both countries, and argue for a moral critique of education in general and moral education in particular. This moral critique leads to a much-needed rethinking of the meaning of moral education in our increasingly multicultural society.
