How Well Do Contextualized Admissions Measures Predict Success for Women, Minoritized, and Low-Income Students?

Abstract

Given that low-income students, women and students of color remain underrepresented at those institutions most likely to promote intergenerational social mobility, we consider the relationship between contextualized review practices and college success for these populations.
Findings reveal that such contextualized measures are predictive of college success outcomes.
