This study examines the longitudinal links between teachers’ trust in administration and colleagues and their affective organizational commitment through the mediating role of organizational justice (OJ). The study was conducted among 637 teachers. The results of the structural equation modeling (SEM) analyses reveal that: 1) trust in administration (T1) predicts OJ (T2); 2) trust in colleagues (T1) predicts OJ (T2); 3) OJ (T1) predicts affective organizational commitment (T2); and 4) OJ (T2) plays a mediating role between trust (T1) and affective organizational commitment (T2). The study’s findings contribute to a better understanding of the prominent role of OJ from a longitudinal perspective. The theoretical and practical implications of this study will be addressed throughout the presentation.
