Understanding the Experiences of Black Women Medical Students and Residents: A Narrative Review

Abstract

To elucidate more information about the experiences of Black women medical students and residents, we performed a narrative review of literature about the experiences of Black women medical students and residents. Our purpose was to explore whether the experiences of Black women medical students and residents are uniquely different using intersectionality as the method for how we review the existing literature.
