Abstract

In the process of AIED (Artificial Intelligence in Education) revolution, teachers' acceptance of AI will affect the progress of reforms. However, traditional technology acceptance research ignores the bounded rationality decision of teachers and the complexity of the diffusion of innovation. Therefore, to explore the complex diffusion mechanism of AI in the education ecosystem, this research employed agent-based modeling to explore the complex phenomenon of teachers' AI acceptance with drawing on the perspective of complexity science. Through simulation experiments, it is found that school innovation atmosphere is the most important factor affecting teachers' AI acceptance. And the dissipative structure phenomenon of the innovation diffusion of AI can be found through the simulation.
