Abstract

This research paper examines empirically the brain-drain and brain-gain theories in the context of mobility of Indian students in the US and GATS. Brain-drain effects are loss of finance and human capital to sending country-India. Brain-gain effects are financial and human capital gains for receiving country- the US.
