Professional Perspectives Versus Public Perception in the Educational Policy Development: A Curriculum Reform Case of Korea

Abstract

This study compares the structure of perception presented in research papers and newspaper articles representing the perception and views of experts and the public as subjects to analyze the point of view of experts and the public using semantic network analysis. Through this, we would like to examine the differences and causes of the reactions and formation of experts and public views in newly developed national education policies, providing implications for the successful design of important national policies, including future education policies.
