Abstract

In this self-study, we employ narrative methods to explore how the global pandemic changed our practice. In the throes of a sudden shift to online teaching/working, “teacher educators internationally [seized] the current crisis as an opportunity to consider new ways of working, to adopt innovative approaches to pedagogy and to re-conceptualize the nature of their teacher education programs (Mutton, 2020, p. 439). Our three cross-case scenarios show how previously held pedagogical and teaching assumptions were tested and modified for the hybrid environment, with some adapted strategies carried forward into current practice.
