Abstract

In this paper, the authors utilize positionality as a pedagogical and analytical framework for leadership development to analyze how aspiring school leaders reflect on their intentionality for social justice leadership praxis. The paper offers illustrations of leadership development as a growth journey that involves dealing with the messiness of one’s positionality in context.
