Education for Sustainability: Reiterating Nature's Role in Education

Nature is the source of life for humans. The enormity of nature cannot be ignored in educational aspects of human life. Nepal is a rich country in terms of nature and culture. The study was undertaken in a school located in rural community of Nepal and it presents a hope for survival of education for sustainability. An interview with the principal and an observation of the school and its community concludes that the context plays an important role in implementation of sustainability within a school. This study can become valuable addition to existing literature in the field of EfS, which aims to understand the role of the context in implementation of sustainability in schools.
