Universities across the United States are focused on fostering student’s experiences related to sociocultural diversity, psychological needs, and civic engagement. Identifying perspectives that reflects the ability of individuals to understand the viewpoint of others while inferring their thoughts and feelings, referred to as social perspective-taking (SPT) contributes to moral and cognitive development of individuals.
