In this paper, the author expands on the ways in which at their college of education in Canada they work to implement Chet Bowers’ ecojustice foundational framework (Bowers, 2001) into a pre-service teacher education program by sharing curricula. The author shares narrative from a case-study to highlight how Bowers’ understanding of the role of language processes and culture in our complex relationships with the natural world help to lay the foundation of ongoing curricular infusion of ecojustice principles into pedagogical practices envisioned for the advancement of ecological frameworks in the field of curriculum studies.
