Mon, April 25, 11:30am to 1:00pm PDT (11:30am to 1:00pm PDT), San Diego Convention Center, Floor: Upper Level, Sails Pavillion

Abstract

This study explores variables that have been used to explain online faculty satisfaction from the support for online teaching. Data was gathered through a batch of surveys completed by 83 online faculty and instructors in a higher education health sciences institution. The results of the multiple regression data analysis showed that the significant variables that explained the satisfaction from institutional support for online teaching were the attitudes toward teaching, one’s amount of teaching experience, one’s lack of teaching training, and gender.
