Abstract

This qualitative study examined the perceptions of various school administrators in rural school districts regarding their perceptions of ‘grow your own’ or GYO hiring practices. Stakeholders perspectives on the use of GYO hiring practices within rural school districts provides insight on potential best practices as well as pitfalls of the impacts of implementation of this approach.
