Abstract

This research study examines the contributions of the teaching fellows programming as a shared resource between P-12 schools and higher education to support PDS clinical experiences in teacher preparation. Researchers conducted formal interviews with Professional Development School (PDS) teacher liaisons/school partners to shed light on the ways in which the teaching fellow resource is utilized to support P-12 student learning and teacher preparation in the P-12 school communities. The findings will be shared and the study strives to meaningfully contribute to the scholarship regarding shared resources in PDS contexts and how educator preparation programs in higher education can utilize this as a model for future practice.
