This study examined how Black female graduate students respond to gendered-racial microaggressions at a historically White institution. Using Critical Race Theory as a framework, this study also explored the social and psychological factors that contribute to their responses. Findings showed that participant responses were influenced by a fear of being physically or sexually assaulted.
