Data analysis in mixed methods research (i.e., mixed analysis) is considered by many researchers to be the most difficult step of the mixed methods research process. This challenge stems from the lack of guidance for conducting mixed analyses. Therefore, we provide a comprehensive meta-framework for conducting advanced crossover mixed analyses. We outline quantitative-dominant, qualitative-dominant, and equal-status advanced crossover mixed analyses. Further, using real data, we demonstrate how a researcher can design a study wherein at least 17 of these crossover mixed analyses can be conducted. These analyses include descriptive-based quantitizing, exploratory-based quantitizing, inferential-based quantitizing, and multi-qualitizing approaches. We believe that our paper is seminal because it explains the next logical step in mixed methods analysis.
