Mon, April 25, 11:30am to 1:00pm PDT (11:30am to 1:00pm PDT), San Diego Convention Center, Exhibit Hall B

Abstract

After utilizing informal feedback to improve the Doctor of Education (EdD) [Name of Improvement Science Program] at [Name of Institution], a formal study with a systematic approach to data collection and analysis to facilitate change for improvement was needed. Thus, the main objective of this research is to support continuous improvement in the EdD Program while, in turn, informing the field more broadly to better prepare doctoral students with the skills they need, improve their experiences in preparation, and support application of their learning. Given the Program’s emphasis on improvement science (IS), faculty and staff have applied an IS approach to identify problems of practice, understand and solve those problems, and improve learning and experiences for EdD students.
