Exploring the Latina/o Student Experience in Catholic High Schools

Abstract

This ongoing research study addresses the experiences and concerns of Latino students and their parents about institutional and social inclusion in Catholic high schools in a Midwestern Diocese in the United States. By using qualitative and quantitative methods of data collection and analysis, this study shares insights collected from the voices of Latino/a students and their families that could be helpful for Catholic high schools to continue or improve the implementation of practices that support a welcoming and inclusive educational environment for Latino students.
