Using a mixed methods approach combining state-level data and local case studies, this research examines how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected educational inequities and district responses along fiscal, spatial, instructional, and racial/ethnic lines across rural Pennsylvania school districts. This work will inform educational equity policy as the pandemic subsides.
